Say farewell to the old year and look forward to the new as you view the peaceful bubbling marl spring within the Hatlem Preserve on this easy, reflective hike. We will walk quietly to observe signs of wildlife and the flowing waters which feed Glen Lake all year. We will also learn a bit about the geology which has shaped this special preserve. Footwear will depend on the weather, but stout, waterproof boots always work as we will cross a short wet area. If there is snow, snowshoes are an option too. Walking sticks are useful. Hatlem Preserve is truly a winter wonderland! Expect to be out 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
