Fall Color Geology Hike at Lighthouse West Natural Area

Docents Keith Rhodes, Bert Thomas and Karl Hausler will lead a hike in the midst of late fall color.  We will be looking for fall fungi and discussing the glacial lake levels and glacial geological processes that were active in forming the landscape in this part of Leelanau County.  We will also talk about the important wildlife corridor that Lighthouse West is an important part of.  Photo by Ed Ketterer
