Linda and her husband, Max, began vacationing in northwest Michigan over 30 years ago. They quickly fell in love with the natural beauty of Leelanau County, especially the lakes, vineyards, and farms. Whereas they are now retired and live in Traverse City, they still feel they are “on vacation” whenever they spend time here. Linda graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio with a BA in sociology and was awarded both an MSSA and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Linda worked for several not-for-profits, being instrumental in establishing hospice programs in Cleveland in the early 80s. Linda currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Conservancy as the board secretary and chairs the Stewardship Committee. Linda also serves on the board of the Munson Hospital Foundation, is Secretary/Treasurer of Woman2Woman, and serves on the Development Committee of the National Writers Series.
