Molly Fava is one of our 2020 Huron Pines AmeriCorps members serving as a Stewardship Technician. She grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, but has been living out of state for the last five years. Molly earned a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and Environmental Studies from Tulane University in New Orleans. Before she began her term with Huron Pines AmeriCorps, Molly was living in upstate New York doing research on insect communities for an organization that researches farm management practices that support native wildlife. Molly is excited to be back in Michigan, and is looking forward to exploring Leelanau County. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, searching for insects, crafting, and spending time with her cat.
